Thank you to the Burgundy Basin for the excellent service on Sunday afternoon for the Arc's annual holiday party! It was a great event, made even better by the outstanding service from beginning to end. Denise was wonderful to work with in planning the event, as was Sarah ( Host) on Sunday. It was very evident to all of ous that your staff did everything possible to make sure the event went as smoothly as possible. I think my niece's facebook post captured it best: BEST. WEDDING.EVER!! We could not be more pleased with the outstanding service and attention to every detail of our wedding! Because of the distance, we relied on the Burgundy to handle alot of details for us and your staff did not disappoint. Denise and the sales staff worked with us over the phone in advance of our special day. I sometimes think that they were as excited for us as we were. The food was (as always) impeccable, and served promptly, and the cake was both beautiful and delicious. The bartenders clearly love what they do, and it showed. Sarah, our wedding concierge took special care to ensure throught the entire evening that everything worked smoothly. She coordinated with DJ Naps for Announcements and was never very far from us in case we needed something. And finally, we were impressed that you (the owners) were on site and overseeing everything. Based on our observations, your staff certainly had everything well in hand, but we appreciate your giving up your Saturday evening to ensure all went well. From the moment we first met with Carl, we knew you would do a fantastic job. When we looked at the Burgundy Room and it's remodel, I was ready to sign our contract immediately. Your staff was respectful and quick to respond to any emails, calls, etc. They made special requests happen with ease. Your process was straight forward and easy. The night of our wedding, Carl and Kyle were amazing. They handled my nerves and a million questions with ease and grace. Everything went off without a hitch and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. We have heard so many compliments since from friends and family. Kathy and I would like to take a moment and express our deepest Thanks for a tremendous wedding reception that you all put together for our Daughter Kristen and Son-in-law Fred. To say we had a good time doesn't even come close to how we feel. From the beginning to end you all couldn't have been more accommodating. Hat's off to Denise for finding the Sparkling wine that the kids wanted....Dan and Cheryl did a great job bartending and the wait staff was second to none!!! From the moment we got there it was all about us and what we needed and wanted.. as my daughter told us it was everything she wanted and more. We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for everything your staff did for us for our wedding day on May 21st. Everything was so wonderful- you helped us have a truly beautiful wedding reception on a very small budget. Everything was beautiful-the cake, the centerpieces, the linens. My husband and I got married at the Burgundy Basin and I have to be honest, it was better than anything I could've thought of in my own head. Everything from the ceremony in the gazebo to the food was simply perfect. Not only was the actual wedding day flawless, but the planning didn't even feel like work. My husband is in the Marine Corps so he wasn't able to help with the planning, not that men usually do but it was difficult not having him around for any of it. I worried that there would be some things he wouldn't like because he had no say in any of it, but he raved about the food for weeks after the wedding. Our hosts, Cindy and Carl, were phenomenal. My husband and I never had to think about anything other than how happy we were. Whether they were bringing us drinks while we were taking pictures, or adjusting the hours on the open bar because our receiving line went too long, everything was handled for us and was made so simple. It was the happiest day of my life and that is in big part a result of the work of your staff. The bartending staff was not only professional but fun and upbeat, which was important to my husband and me, nobody wants a boring bar staff! Every time I called with a question (and those times were numerous) your staff was polite and patient. They worked with me to find time for appointments that fit my schedule.
